YES. You read that right.

 

As I write this, my DeFi portfolio is returning 23% interest per year, and the interest compounds DAILY.  

 

Let me break this down for you. 

 

This may shock some of you, but our current banking system is not designed to support you.  The global financial elite, the ones who sit on top of the banks, are financially worth more than can be calculated.  

 

Think about this. 

 

If you get a mortgage, if you have a credit card, if you have a business loan you pay interest.  Depending on the reason for the financing, you are likely paying anywhere from 4%-23% interest on your loan. 

 

If you have money in a savings account right now, you are likely not making more than 1% (if that). 

 

So, if the bank is making 4%-23% interest, plus the ridiculous amount of fees we pay, where is all that money going?  Certainly not to us. 

Yes, they have staff to pay, and running costs.  And, the ones sitting on top are getting richer and richer by the minute, on our money.

It is not designed for us, it is designed to make them richer and richer. 

 

In comes DeFi. 

 

In the DeFi system, someone takes a loan and pays interest.  The same money that you have sitting in a bank, letting the bank collect interest off your money, which is effectively getting loaned out to other people could be in the DeFi space earning a much higher interest. 

 

In the DeFi space, we take out the middle man (the bank), and get the higher returns on interest for ourselves.

BOOM 💥 

How is this possible?  

 

We gotta get a bit techy into the Crypto space to explain this, so hang with me. 

 

The short answer of how this is possible is, Smart contracts.

What is a Smart Contract?

 

A smart contract is a programmable contract that allows two counterparties to set conditions of a transaction without needing to trust another third party for the execution.

What does that mean for you?

When you put your money into the DeFi space you are entering into a contract in which someone is borrowing your money and you are making the interest from the loan and this all happens automagically, within moments. 

You will never know the person, you don’t need to.  The blockchain records it and it is done.

By the way, before you freak out.  That’s what is happening now in a bank.  Your money sitting in the bank is being loaned out to other parties.  The bank is the middle man doing that. 

How is it safe? 

 

The person who is getting the loan is over-collateralized.  Meaning that if they want a loan for $10,000, they have to put up $15,000 to back their loan. So, if their asset drops, the contract will end before it goes below $10,000 and your money is safe and will automagically be used to back someone else’s loan.

This is the basic premise of DeFi. 

 

I had a vision last year when I wrote my book, ‘The New Wealth’, of an era of Infinite Abundance and, with that, a new banking system.  I had no idea this existed at the time. 

 

I quickly found DeFi after knowing that we had a chance to create an entirely new reality on the planet in the way we make money and grow wealth and it’s been blowing my mind every day since.
